There is a new company called "Authors Bookshop Ltd."

It is inviting all authors and artists to rent a shelf in the bookshop.

The site is being designed to help both established and aspiring authors and artists sell their stuff.

• All you have to do is
  1. Sign in to Authors Bookshop
  2. Then you can E mail the Authors Bookshop and send a picture of yourself, (or a short video) together with short introduction about yourself. You may speak this in the video (as in Babette’s example) or send a short written one
  3. Attach a list of stuff you want to sell on your shelf. (see Babette’s example)
  4. Send in your contact and website details, if you have one, so that prospective clients can contact you directly. Your Privacy will be respected.
  5. You may attach up to five pictures of your stuff you want to sell if you like

If you are an established author and need to sell your books, remainders, autographed copies, original illustrations or make yourself available for lectures/ visits etc.this is a good way letting people know you are out there. It may help you earn a little extra cash.

If you are an unpublished author this is a good way of getting your work seen by publishers/agents etc.

If you are an artist , be it a painter, sculpture,designer,illustrator, graphic or digital artist, or if you are in the performing arts just send us a photo or video of your self and a list of your works for sale and jobs you are available for.Again the shop is a good way of getting your work seen and letting people know what you can do.

Authors Bookshop will be seen by publishers, agents,galleries and related groups /organizations. It is really worth joining.
